We have two programs available to our students: the 2-day group and 3-day group. Children in the 2-day group include those who have or will turn three years of age by December 31 of the current school year. The children in the 3-day group include those who have or will turn four years of age by September 1 of the current school year. This prepares children for kindergarten following two years at Quaker Lane, in accordance with the Connecticut model.

Lunch Bunch
Lunch bunch is an optional program at Quaker Lane for children in our 2-day class. The students have lunch in small groups followed by unstructured playtime. Lunch bunch promotes social learning in a relaxing atmosphere and fosters close friendships in a small-group setting. Each session is supervised by two teachers and is limited to 12 children. The session begins immediately following the normal dismissal time and runs from 12:00–1:00 p.m. Children bring in their own nut-free lunches.
Extended Day
An extended day program is available for children enrolled in the 3, 4, and 5-day programs. The extended day session runs from 1:00–2:00 p.m. and is available once or twice a week, depending on interest from the class. This extra hour allows students an opportunity to work with a smaller group of their peers and teachers to explore extended learning of pre-academic skills. Extended day also includes additional free play time.
