Why choose Quaker Lane? Read what some of our past and present families have to say about our school!

“I have had three children attend Quaker Lane, all of whom were happy to go to school there every single day. The strong friendships they formed at Quaker Lane and its patient, loving teachers established a foundation for my children’s love of school, which they carry with them years later.”
– Kristin Cianflone

“The Quaker Lane community is so beautifully authentic, compassionate and invested. The teachers there love the students there to their core, infuse their incredible professionalism in all they do, and do so at a fraction of the cost of traditional pre-schools.”
– Alyssa Norwood

“Quaker Lane Cooperative Nursery School provided a wonderfully creative and nurturing environment for my daughter to grow and acquire all of the social and academic skills that she would need to successfully transition to kindergarten. As a new family to the area QLCNS offered our family a kind welcome to the community and the opportunity to make friends for our children as well as for my husband and myself. It is a wonderful place that feels like home!”
– Kristin Dolan

“I feel like they care about the whole family, not just the child. That they have a genuine interest in us.”
– Megan Ciccarello

“Since my youngest child’s last walk down the quaint path leading into Quaker Lane Cooperative Nursery School, my entire family regularly references the happiness, sense of wonder, friendships, and comfort we all experienced at QL. Our memories are alive and well in the friendships we have maintained with the teachers, fellow students, and families of the best preschool in town!”
– Karen French

“There are so many great things I could say about Quaker Lane: the community, being part of a cooperative, the gradual increase of school time, etc… But the two things that stand out the most for me are the warmness and connection that being part of a cooperative fosters, and the fact that Quaker Lane still cultivates an attitude that learning is fun; school is fun and something to look forward to. I don’t think you can say that about every school these days. In short, I think picking Quaker Lane as my children’s preschool was one the best decisions I ever made.”
– Kasey Andrist

“From the first day my son walked into Quaker Lane, he felt at home. I think it was a combination of the teacher’s warm welcome and the way they made the kids feel like a small family together. Fun, creative, warm, compassionate, and loving. By far, my favorite preschool in town!”

“I am so happy that my family chose Quaker Lane for our children’s preschool education. The balance between free play, guided play and direct instruction was ideally suited to their learning needs at 3-5 years old. The play-based model gave them the opportunity to learn how to negotiate play with peers and balance their desires with the desires of the group. I can’t express how much these skills helped them from day one in kindergarten. When I dropped my kids off at Quaker Lane I never doubted that they were loved and in a safe environment. Watching how they developed trusting relationships with their teachers and with other parents that were in the classroom gave me such confidence that we were in the right place. It really does take a village and I’m so happy I’ve had the teachers, parents, and children of Quaker Lane to be a part of mine.”
